Kasi even foreign designers ginagawa ring inspiration yung mga gawang atin. Kung sa pagluluto ng adobo, you put extra something on the original recipe, a twist that would warrant you saying this is my own take of an adobo dish, thus the expression "making it your own". Same goes in fashion, pmpc star awards you see an inspiration, you put your own twist here and there, update it by putting your own stamp to the original style/design to make it your own. Actually, I've seen Anne's dress (or at least, sillhouttes like it) way way back in the mid-90s (grunge era). Fashion naman repeats itself, so I won't blame the designer. In another point, there are just faint similarities between the two dresses, but I don't pmpc star awards think Francis Libiran's is a direct copy. Reply Delete
