A few minutes ago the 54th Grammy Awards 2011 vma performances ceremony came to an end. The large penned this year was British singer Adele, who with six trophies (including the three important main categories - Song of the Year Record of the Year and Album of the Year) Award.
But who has now allowed to take from the Country artists a golden gramophone? Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum 2011 vma performances as well as Barton Hollow were awarded two coveted awards each. Alison Krauss 2011 vma performances and Union Station gave her boys from the best bluegrass album. Levon Helm grabbed the gramophone in the category "Americana".
Best Vocal Performance (Solo): Taylor Swift - "Mean" Best Vocal Performance (Group, 2011 vma performances duo): "The Civil Wars" - Barton Hollow Song of the Year: "Mean" - Taylor Swift Best Album: "Own The Night" - Lady Antebellum Best Duo, Best Group: Lady Antebellum Best Americana Album: "Ramble At The Ryman" - Levon Helm Best Bluegrass Album: "Paper Airplane" - Alison Krauss & Union Station Best Folk Album: "The Civil Wars" - Barton Hollow
Hello to the Grammy Awards would also be mentioned that Bear Family Records, who have been nominated in 2 Kate Grien, 2011 vma performances have "The Bristol Sessions" sadly did not win for their box. They have lost against Paul McCartney and Chris Strachwitz against (but is also born in Germany). Has there ever ever ever won from Germany in the entertainment field a Grammy?
Peter Cooper and Eric Brace were also nomiert, with the CD "I Love: Tom T. Hall's Songs Of Fox Hollow" in the category "Best Children's Album", but unfortunately nothing gained.
