Niña Pastori is the stage name of María Rosa García García. She was born in San Fernando, Cádiz 15 janiuari 1978 from her four years she accompanied her mother during her performances, her mother was known Pastori de la Isla. Her mother taught her the art of flamenco, and put her on the way to become a singer, and from her eight years she also hit the road. When she was barely twelve years the singer José Monge Cruz, Camarón de la Isla performed at the Teatro de Cádiz Andalucía, where he hit fascinated by her and asked her to perform with him. In the beginning of her career, she was supported by Camarón de la Isla, but since she moved to Madrid and signing a recording contract with Sony Music gave a huge boost to her career. When she was seventeen she had the opportunity to record her first album, education maintenance allowance but this included not only flamenco music. At the urging of her mother education maintenance allowance Maria went to Madrid to make songs to sing La Parrala, where she was discovered by Alejandro Sanz and Paco Ortega. During the recording of the second album she began a relationship with Julio Jiménez Borja, "Chaboli", whom she married on December 21, 2002 she received a Grammy Latino 2009 for the best flamenco album with her seventh and being last album 'Esperando verte '. In her thirty-year career, she has sold over two million albums and she kept getting her first record company Sony Music loyalty.
